I will have access to a 7D this weekend. I already planned a few tests to compare it to the 5DMrkII. Anyone has an idea of a specific test you want me to perform?

Rolling shutter is something I am very interested in testing. Don’t worry about that :-)

I just got my 7D. I’d love to do some tests as well, but don’t really know what to start with to be honest. Going to go up to Rocky Mountain National Park this weekend. Hopefully get some good footage from that. :)

I’m interested in the low light/high ISO performance of the 7D. Thanks!

i’m in the market for a better lens and a better camera, right now i have a 20d and a 50mm lens as well as a 18-55mm lens. i’m wondering if i should get the 7d, or splurge for the 5d- and if i get the 7d should i splurge on the 25-70mm lens, or get the lens that the 7d kit comes with… anyone have any tips for me??

Get the EF-S 17-55IS2.8. This lens is incredible for the 7D. Perfect focal range for most situations. Look in a previous article I wrote about lenses for the 7D. One thing for sure, dont get a 24-70 on a crop sensor, it is just a weird range to work with, never feels wide enough.

7D with Zeiss lenses
7D with macro lenses
7D as a film device (against similar machines)
7D as a photographic device (could be a pro machine in spite the crop sensor?)
Please ,-)
Thanks very much
